Outside the Deshmukh House
A lot of men are standing outside the chawl. One of the men put up the notice. One of the men ask the man who is putting up the notice, who are you and what are you doing here? The man says can you not see, I was putting up a notice. The man says notice, what kind of notice? The man says to leave the chawl, the last notice. The elder Kaka comes and says who are you to put up a notice? This chawl is ours, and we will not vacate it. The man is rude to the elder Kaka and says you will need to leave to vacate the chawl. You guys have no more rights over this chawl. A resident says how do we not have right to this chawl, A lady from the chawl says what do you think, that you can make us vacate this chawl, get out of here! The man tells everyone to vacate the chawl. Another man says or else I know of ways to get you guys to vacate the chawl. A resident from the chawl says who are you threatening? We are not going to listen to your threats. The man says I will call the police. Another resident says what did you say, you will call the police? The man starts to get physical and it turns to a very physical fight. The men are pushing each other and some of them fall. Some men even throw buckets of water at them. A man stops the fight. Another man threatens everyone that they will have to vacate the chawl very soon or else we will throw you out. The three men leave the chawl. One chawl resident is in severe pain from those men hitting him and the other chawl residents help him.
